Check Out The N2.3billion Bridge in Bayelsa Built By The NDDC (Photos)


The office of Daniel Pondei, Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has been heavily ridiculed after it was gathered that a sum of N2.3 billion was used to construct a wooden bridge in Bayelsa state.

Citizens have gone berserk after learning of the money involved and the year in which the wooden bridge. A media report reveals that the bridge was given to a contractor in 2018 and completed in 2020. The money involved causes the citizens to feel disgusted hence their petition to the government to investigate the NDDC.

Apparently, the NDDC has never been audited until Monday when investigations led to the discovery of the contract surrounding the N2.3 billion at Ogbia local government in Bayelsa state. When quizzed about the bridge and other misappropriation of funds by the agency, Dr. Pondei, chairman. of the NDDC fainted.
