Popular Nollywood actress Rachel Oniga left her marriage and Muslim husband after he married a second wife to his home.

The Islamic rite allows their men to marry two or more wives if he has the means and is also financially stable to cater for his family. This is allowed with the consent of the first wife. Most women will not accept the fact of welcoming a second wife into their home but most women also give in to a second or more wives due to the custom of the Muslim rite.

Popular Yuroba Actress Rachel Oniga didn’t accept the fact that she was going to share her husband with another woman hence, packed out of the house and ended the marriage. She later disclosed in an interview that she regretted her actions latter.

According to her, her hasty decision to leave her husband was a regretful decision because she was young by then and wasn’t even in the acting scene. She disclosed that ever since she walked away from her marriage, she has never given any man an opportunity in her life.
